Hitmen U18 Beast Team Crowned Champions!!!

Hitmen U18 Beast team won the U18 Showcase Division Championship in their 1st season in the prestigious League.

It was an exciting finish to the Fall for the Hitmen U18 Beast Team. They capped off an excellent season with a 3-2 OT win vs Springfield Rifles U19 team in the Beast Playoffs! Zenas Kennedy (Pomfret) scored the game winner on an absolute laser. Collin Patterson (St Georges') and MIchael Dimascolo (St. George's) were the other goal scorers.

Andrew Shearson (Pomfret) was outstanding in net. The team started the weekend with a 5-3 win over the Rifles Showcase. They followed that up with a come from behind 4-3 win vs East Coast Militia. Ben Jenkinson (St. George's) scored a highlight reel goal to seal the win. This was season to remember for this group. They finished 18-3-1. Broke into the top 25 teams in the Country at Tier I and beat three top 20 teams along the way. Congrats to the team and Coach Rosenblatt who did an outstanding job coaching! The Beast League was a huge success for the Hitmen Midget teams this year and we will look to expand the number of teams that we place in the league for next season.
